Two friends (Madhavan and Sharman Joshi) embark on a quest for a lost buddy. On this journey, they encounter a long forgotten bet, a wedding they must crash and a funeral that goes impossibly out of control. As they make their way through the perilous landscape, another journey begins: their inner journey through memory lane and the story of their friend – the irrepressible free thinker Rancho (Aamir Khan), who in his unique way, touched and changed their lives. It's a story of their hostel days that swings between Rancho's romance with the spirited Pia (Kareena Kapoor), and his clash with an oppressive mentor, Viru Sahastrabudhhe (Boman Irani). And then one day, suddenly, Rancho vanishes....

My Say?
I'm an engineering student who happens to be able to relate with the 3 idiots on the film. :) Our school IIT, just happen to have just the same professor as Viru (school director on the movie). Not really, but he is nonetheless everyone's pressure on our school department. I had been to a lot of pressure leading me to lose self-confidence and just everything. I lost the reason to carryout doing good at school. So I screwed up for a year or so. And, just this semester, after seeing the film, I had been inspired by the dedication of Rancho not just to learning but to his friends as well. 3 Idiots indeed gives us life lessons we should have had learned long ago.
But it is never too late for a change. And it doesn't take a life or two to change a person you thought would never change. The famous line from the film,
Aal izz well.says it all. Whatever circumstance we may face not just at school but on our everyday life, everything will just be well. There is a greater person above us who will not let us suffer beyond what we can carry. We are never left alone. He uses our family and friends and even our professors to keep up with the pressure consuming us. 3 Idiots is a must watch film. It just had not helped me develop the love for optimism and learning but it had also helped me realize that every problem is solvable.
A happy-ever-watching!
